You can buy everything you need, tea, coffee, sugar, organic fruit and veg, organic, free range meat, environmentally friendly cleaning products, a gift for the mother in law, nappies, wet ones, toothpaste!! Beamish&McGlue believe in shopping locally. Our Shop is in an oasis in an area that many refer to as a ‘food desert’ and has become a cornerstone of the Community.
At Beamish&McGlue we believe passionately in inclusivity, this is behind the whole ethos of what we do. Our shop caters for everyone, our demographic is very varied, our pricing is competitive and we feel we have proved what we set out to four years ago: that healthy eating is not exclusive!
We have a very loyal customer base that is growing all the time. We were named “Best Retailer in Lambeth" in 2009 and were shortlisted for "The Best Customer Service Award".
Last year we were shortlisted for a South London Business Award for "Best Customer Service". The South London Business Awards encompass the 12 boroughs that make up South London.. so we were chuffed to be shortlisted for such a prestigious prize..
